The warm weather is here!! The trees, grass, and flowers are blooming which brings that yellow powdery stuff, pollen, that gets everywhere. Even though we don't like pollen; however, bees are attracted to it. Have you ever wondered what good are bees besides just making honey? Bees are known to be a huge provider of our food source and they beautify the planet.
There are many different species of bees; however, only 4,000 out of 25,000 worldwide are found in the U.S. The 4,000 is subdivided into just nine families of bees. One family everyone is familiar which is the Apidae family consisting of the honeybee, carpenter bee, and bumblebee. They will build their nests anywhere: inside house vents, attics, corners of windows, under the ground, along fences, even inside wood.
Bees can cause a lot of damage to a building beside the pain from their stinger. The nests of bees holds generations of a bee family. Depending on the size of their nest there can be multiple queens laying eggs all inside it. The location and size of the nest will declare the monetary value of damage that was caused.
